2. 상세
매닉 스트리트 프리처스의 대표곡들 중 하나로, 그들 중에서도 높은 평론적 평가를 받는 곡 중 하나이다. UK 차트에서 17위를 기록하는 등 상업적으로도 크게 성공하였다.중독성 있고 감성적인 기타리프가 특징으로 이 기타리프는 BBC 선정 가장 위대한 기타 리프에서 무려 13위나 차지했다. 매닉스 초기 노래들 중 멜로디가 가장 서정적인 곡이지만 가사는 그렇지 않다. 사회가 청년들이 순응하기를 기대하는 방식을 묘사하면서 자본주의에 의해 제공되는 소비지상주의 중심의 생활방식의 공허함에 대해 까는 가사로 이루어져 있다.
참고로 뮤직 비디오는 일본의 요코하마, 도쿄 등지에서 찍었는데 무단으로 강행한거라 모두 길거리를 돌아다니면서 입모양만 벙긋벙긋하고 있다(...)
