This adult fluke is found in the cloaca of birds, where it releases its eggs into the bird's faeces. The intermediate host is a snail.Translation of original caption:

The large suckers make up one third of the entire body of the animal; the yolk stalks lie exclusively in the side fields between the intestine and the body wall; only the end sections of the intestine are visible due to the strongly filled uterine loops; the sexual organs are located in the posterior part of the body, as well as the mouths of the same at the posterior end of the body; cf.
